Paycheck Deductions
It might be easier to consider giving a little each month throughout the year, than all at once. Read on and decide if one of these options fit your budget.
For government employees, C.A.S.T. is a member of the Combined Federal Campaign and can be referenced by the CFC #12017. You should receive a document from your HR personnel that will have a space to fill-in the CFC number and your contribution.
If you are a private sector employee, please ask your HR department how you can give on a scheduled basis through paycheck deductions to our Foundation. For a state list of companies who encourage giving at work, please visit http://www.tgci.com/funding.shtml.
Gifts In-Kind
Gifts In-Kind is a kind of charitable giving in which, instead of giving money to buy needed goods and services, the goods and services themselves are given. Should you have an item that you’re interested in donating, please contact the Foundation directly to discuss.
Planned Giving
Planned Giving is a set of ways a donor can leave money/assets to a nonprofit at his/her death; or a way to invest money so that the donor receives benefits during his/her life and then bequeaths the remaining funds to the nonprofit. Planned Giving is a complex program of various financial instruments that can be adapted to each donor's needs.
If you are considering planned giving, we strongly recommend that you as a donor contact professional legal or financial assistance to understand what will work best for you. At that point, please then contact Jim Owens, Executive Director, to discuss further details.
